A busy month!

This past week I have been recieving some training from Al Halewood, ( http://alanhalewood.blogspot.com/ ) Ice Factor's technical advisor. Whilst it was clear that most of the technical material I already knew, it was a fantastic opportunity to work with Al and get feedback and advice on my personal climbing and gaining different ideas and approaches towards challenges faced. However, the highlight was seconding Al on an HVS as it allowed me to explore next years projects! The two pictures seen above are from Al's blog and show a quick alternative rigging position and a Y hang rescue with a colleague.
Over the next couple of weeks I shall be going off to Glenmore Lodge for another training course also coupled with starting to prepare documents for the Institute of Outdoor Learning to start on the road towards hopefully becoming an Accredited Practitioner of Outdoor Learning. So busy bumble bee Chris!
