TL2

On the 11-14th April I went away on my TL2 with Leo Hoare at Shuttleworth College. I was pretty nervous in that first day kind of way but was pleased to find that we had a very broad range of people on this course - from freelance instructors to primary school teachers! It was really great to hear so man points of view and be coached by so many different personalities. The course was very dynamic with Leo tailoring timings and materials to our needs which was great, and keeping us all smiling with banter during some of the heavier classroom sessions. We spent quite a long time on the water coaching each other, and spent some time being observed by and receiving coaching from Leo and Graham which was absolutely fantastic. Its been a while since I was coached so when Leo asked for a guinea pig for coaching on a particular skill I jumped at it! Bonus! The course itself was organised by Helen at the college who was absolutely fantastic and on top of all that looked after me by lending me her down sleeping bag for the few days which made the camping much warmer for me so much love to Helen for that!

Im now looking forward to going on with my level 2 work, and getting the coaching in that I need to do ultimately do the assessment - anybody fancy a bit of free coaching?!!
