A bit of a fail.....
....but nonetheless our spirits remain high :) We spent the day at Llanberis and figured out that there was a climbing centre nearby called Beacon Centre so we headed there for an evening climb before deciding to head to my absolute favourite bunkhouse ever, called Tyddyn Bychan, run by a lovely lady called Linda http://www.tyddynbychan.co.uk/ - i love staying here, its warm and cosy but still a bunkhouse with a drying room and stuff!! We would never have found it ourselves but we were recommended this by Lowri (see below post from February 2010 about 3 days with Lowri Davies) and its just awesome! After that, we got up and went back down south as it was still forecast to be raining so we finally threw in the towel and went to Oxford for a beer with old friends and a bit of home comforts and areal rest before having to return to Kinloch.

On the way back to Kinloch after a couple of days we stopped off at Jims house, I (Rach) got horrendous belly ache and was unable to drive so another day spent at Jims and a pub quiz ensued and we travelled back the next day and ended up decorating the house!
A bit of a fail on the climbing front due to weather and us not having paddling gear, but still, a good rest was had by us both and I almost got to go and take a dump at the Brenin but alas, twas not to be....lol (i was in there for a genuine reason asking about courses and thought it would be funny, hehehe small things!)
