Snowed in in York!

Monday was meant to be back at uni but i spent from 13.15 until 22.30 trapped on the A82 with a whole bunch of other motorists - leaving me trapped in Glasgow with nowhere to stay as the M74 south and the A82 north was shut!! I was thankful to have walked into the Milton Inn Hotel off of the A82 in Milton just oustide Glasgow and they sorted me out a room very last minute, the prospect of staying in my car wouldnt have been quite so deeply worrying had i had my sleeping bag with me which for once, i didnt have! GRR! Either way, i spent the rest of the evening warming up and being very VERY grateful for that so thank you to the owners for sorting me out a room when they really didnt have to :D

Finally made it back on Monday, its still took me over 7 hours to York from Glasgow so that was still pretty slow, but to have been travelling since midday on Sunday (after a traumatic shed opening at Chris' house with an ice axe to get his boat out LOL!) I was so grateful to be back - total journey time - 29 hours....!

My car has been stuck in the same place in the car park since then and then it snowed...LOTS... look!! Im hoping to get my keys back (my housemate posted my keys to scotland by accident...fail!) and get the boat off snowboating before the snow fades!
