Well it would have been rude not to really now wouldnt it, ive lived here fore over 20 years (well thats dubious) and we finally get an outdoorsy feature so Chris and I went to reccy the place! Sweet!
Well, i have to say now that it isnt a patch on Manchester Climbing centre done by the same company but its a heffing great improvement on what we had before which was nowt as far as i know, not cheap, but the bouldering area i loved :) massive plus for me, i enjoyed bouldering for a change and actually would pay to go back and have just a bouldering ticket i think! On a less busy day i think that the routes would be good but it was rammed when we went. Several birthdya parties running which were varying levels of hilarity and there were a number of just general slow moving gasbagging people on routes in places where i would like to have gotten started but overall, a good centre, some staff might crack their faces if they smiled, nice cafe looking over the walls, and a really nice bouldering area - a nice enough way to spend a rainy sunday afternoon....
