River Wharfe - 5/2/11

Appropriately coined the WHARFEBEZI by one of the members, it was at 1.55m which if you look on the website for river levels is hiiooowge - i sat in the van with Simon on the way there pretty scared by the day ahead, we planned to do the stretch above Linton Falls originally but the features were all either washed out or just plain dangerous for the whole group to paddle so we eventually went to look at the constriction and decided it was a go-er and did Linton downward instead - i think it was Burnsall we got off on the road bridge.







A good day out was had by all, followed by the Christmas party...hopefully pictures to follow!
